    What is Gyrotonic® Training?

    The Gyrotonic® System was developed by former dancer Juliu Horvath and revolutionizes movement training. It combines principles from yoga, dance, gymnastics, swimming and Tai Chi into a unique, three-dimensional training system.

    Warm-up & Introduction (15 Min.)

    Gentle mobilization exercises and first introduction to Gyrotonic® basic movements. You learn the important breathing technique.

    Main Training (30 Min.)

    Individually adapted exercise sequences on the Pulley Tower. Flowing, circular movements for spine, arms and legs - everything perfectly tailored to you.

    Cool-Down & Feedback (5 Min.)

    Relaxation and reflection on the session. Discussion of next steps and recommendations for your further training.

    Anima Henn is a certified Gyrotonic® trainer with continuous education and over 10 years of experience in sports therapy applications, professional coaching and dance (Diploma Dance Instructor).

    The History Behind Gyrotonic®

    The revolutionary Gyrotonic® System was developed in the 1980s by former ballet dancer Juliu Horvath. After an Achilles tendon injury ended his dance career, he sought a method that could heal and strengthen his body.

    Born Out of Necessity

    Horvath combined his experiences from ballet, yoga, swimming, gymnastics, and Tai Chi into a completely new movement system. He recognized that the human body functions in spiral, three-dimensional patterns - not in the linear movements of conventional training methods.

    The development of the specialized equipment took years. The centerpiece - the Pulley Tower - enables uniform resistance in all directions while supporting the body's natural movement patterns.
